What is the Running Academy?
The goal of the Running Academy is to create a Group Running environment where almost anyone can improve their level of fitness and their running ability, and learn to incorporate running into their very own Fitness Lifestyle.
There are several courses available in the Running Academy, designed to accommodate virtually any fitness level. The Running 101, 102 & 103 courses are designed for novice runners, or experienced runners returning to running after a layoff. All three courses are based on the Run/Walk method, and each course is 12 weeks long, 3 days per week, for a total of 36 sessions.
These courses may be repeated as many times as desired (a new tuition is required for each repeat) before moving up to the more extensive training of Running 201 (the 16-week Half-Marathon training course), and Running 301 (the 26-week Marathon training course). Participants must be 18, or over, to enroll in any of the Running Academy courses.
